SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of operating a centrifugation cycle with multiple operations of centrifugation within the laundry treatment method in a washing machine having a drum placed in a tank for washing solution with the ability of rotation about a substantially horizontal axis, and a device of program control, according to which in a cycle of centrifugation, before each centrifugation operation during the operation of laundry distribution the distribution of laundry items is carried out on the internal volume of the drum by raising and/or lowering the number of revolutions of the drum, and for the laundry distribution operation (n) before the centrifugation operation (n) the maximum time (t_max ⁿ) of distribution or/and the maximum number (m_tr) of the distribution operation passes is set to achieve or non-exceedance of the maximum value (D_max ¹) of the acceptable degree of unevenness of distribution of laundry items, and (a) for each operation (n) of laundry distribution the actual required time (t_act ⁿ) is found; (b) the difference Δtn=t_set ⁿ-t_act ⁿ is calculated between the actual time (t_act ⁿ) and the set time (t_set ⁿ) of the operation (n) of laundry distribution; and (c) depending on the calculated difference Δtn=t_set ⁿ-t_act ⁿ the decision is made on the further passage of the centrifugation cycle. The invention also relates to a washing machine made with the ability to implement this method.
