FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices that prevent vehicles movement, in particular, to anti-ram devices designed for prevention of unauthorised entrance of motor transport by means of its forced stop. The road blocker comprises a steel base, a lifting platform and a protective screen, in the lifted position covering the space between the base and the platform. The protective screen is flexible from high-strength synthetic fabric with water-resistant impregnation and polyurethane coating. One of edges of the protective screen is fixed on the horizontal rotary roller installed on the base or platform of the blocker. The screen is wound onto the roller as the platform lowers and is unwound during lifting. The roller is equipped with one or several spiral springs made coaxially with the roller.
EFFECT: increased reliability and operability of a blocker under unfavourable weather conditions.
