FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: barrier is intended for protection against unauthorised passage of transport vehicles. A barrier includes a swing-beam fixed in cavities of fixing supports, which are installed on foundation projections along edges of the road bed. An electrohydraulic actuator of the swing-beam is installed on the projection near the swing-beam. A cavity is made in the bed immediately in front of the swing-beam; in the above cavity there mounted is a movable load-carrying surface made on the basis of a garage conveyor for movement of transport consisting of a frame, two movable drums enveloped with a tightened steel band being a moving load-carrying surface. The band is equipped with a brake gear made in the form of an electromagnetic friction coupling with an excitation winding connected to an electric circuit of the swing-beam actuator and attaching the rotation axis of one of the drums to the fixed shaft connected to the earth.

EFFECT: increasing a protection degree by reduction of collision power of a transport vehicle at the moment of its bumping against a barrier.
