FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of the automatic control of the melting process of copper-nick sulphide raw material in Vanyukov's furnace during sulphide charge processing to regulus. The method includes permanent monitoring of the process parameters, correction of the control parameters to stabilize the copper content, at that as the main parameter Qi the specific flowrate of the oxygen per tons of only contained metals in m3/t, division of the entire Qi range to some areas corresponding to: normal process execution Q0 in range 150-250 m3/t, ability for cold process Q-1 in range 150 m3/t and below, ability for hot process Q+1 in range 250 m3/t and over, additionally degree of the process consistency is considered, value of main or any other parameter beyond the limit modes of the consistency area is interpreted as conflict Ki, and as per the correction models the options are searched for the process return in the consistency are, the following is selected as conflicts: K1 - overoxidation of contained metals (MC), K2 - underoxidation of contained metals , K3 - excess of fluxings, K4 - lack of fluxings, K5 - hot furnace condition, K6 - cold furnace condition, K7 - impossibility of direct determination of the melt temperature in the furnace reaction zone, K8 - impossibility of the direct determination of physical volume of the supplied charge, at that decree of consistency of the values and quality of charge, blasting modes with the set copper content in regulus is checked as per the polynomial models.
EFFECT: operative control of the melting process, process visualization, quality stabilization of the melt products, acquisition of the not measured or poorly measured process parameters, and estimation of the machine status by the indirect measures, reduced power consumption of the charge processing, stabilization of the process temperature mode upon keeping the set targets and objectives, and production of the software product.
