FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: filter assembly comprises air filter, air filter section with air filter fitted therein and cover to close the latter. Said cover has the ribs arranged along its sidewalls. Said ribs, outer sidewalls and inner sidewalls make some channels with inlets for the mix of water with air. Drops of the mix water fraction are accumulated on channels walls. Accumulated water outflows from the filter assembly in self-flowing manner. The mix air portion escaping via the channels outlets flows into air filter section. Said air portion flows through the air filter at the section outlet and therefrom.
EFFECT: removal of water admixtures and fine particles.
