FIELD: household appliances.

SUBSTANCE: device (10) for wet cleaning, such as a wet cleaning vacuum cleaner, in which separator unit (18) is used to separate liquid and particles from an air stream, for example from a suction stream. Separator unit comprises flow path element (36) and outlet element (38), which is adjacent or substantially adjacent to flow path element and extends from flow path element. Flow path element changes the air flow direction so that any water and/or dirt particles captured by air are thrown onto flow path element inner surface section (36A). Therefore, such water and/or dirt particles are separated from air flow. Outlet element has hole to which separated water and/or dirt particles are directed. When the device is oriented for use, the outlet element is configured to direct and accumulate the separated water and/or dirt particles towards region (52) in the opening. Separated water and/or dirt particles flow from said area in direction of storage volume (28) along first path (39) for flow. Air separated from water and/or dirt particles is directed to air channel (22) which is located at distance from outlet element and accumulating volume. Second flow path (32A) is provided between outlet element opening and air channel for separated air, wherein second flow path is directed away from first flow path.

EFFECT: device helps to minimize or prevent repeated penetration of water and/or dirt particles into air flow; besides, invention covers the method of water and/or dirt particles separation from airflow.
