FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves performing sessions of mechanical spinal traction in a recumbent patient with the individually adjusted inclination of the cervical spine by means of the DRX9500 apparatus. The exposure follows a schedule consisting of ten daily sessions and eight sessions every second day. Each daily session of mechanical spinal traction is preceded by 30-minute interstitial electrical stimulation by the Magnon-PRB apparatus generating electric current at a frequency of 50 Hz and current intensity of 5-20 mA. The first electrode is applied on the spines, and the second one - on projections of trigger points. What is also conducted is a drug therapy consisting of an intravenous drop-by-drop introduction of Texamen 20 mg on the first four days, and on the following six days - alternate administration of mixed magnesia 5 ml and Actovegin 5 ml and mixed Spasgan 5 ml, Novocaine 5 ml, 0.5% Trental 5 ml and vitamin B12 5 ml.
EFFECT: higher therapeutic clinical effectiveness ensured by various mechanisms of spinal injuries pathogenesis.
