FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, neurology, exercise therapy, rehabilitation, traumatology and orthopaedics, and represents a group of methods (versions) for the integrated myodynamic traction (IMT) ensured by the exposure on adjacent regions of spine. The method (versions thereof) is characterised by the fact that the extension is combined with the dynamic contraction and relaxation of thoracic and lumbar or cervical and thoracic spinal muscles simultaneously with the use of restraints for individual parts of body, to be attached to a weight through a brace thrown over an upper vertical block of a training simulator. The muscles are contracted and relaxed by a repetitive performance of special narrow local motions with a repetition maximum within 15-30 motions with a certain weight. The weight gain for the following sets is accompanied by the repetition maximum reduction up to an initial value. Dynamic muscle contraction phases are accompanied by an active diaphragm exhalation, while relaxation phases - by a passive inhalation.
EFFECT: method extends the range of available methods for the spinal traction, enables performing the motions in separate spinal motion segments, forming a pectoral girdle, correcting a body posture, reducing the spinal nerve root compression.
