SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic luminescent substances, namely to electroluminescent materials for organic light-emitting diodes. As luminescent substance claimed are derivatives of 1,8-diaminopyrene with aryl substituents at nitrogen atoms, selected from the group: phenyl, naphthalen-1-yl, naphthalen-2-yl, 4-tert-butylphenyl. Said substances are characterised by active luminescence and high solubility in organic solvents. Electroluminescent device, based on said substances, contains one organic luminescent layer, prepared by method of pouring from solution.

EFFECT: creation of effective electroluminescent device, which can be used by "liquid" technology, in particular by method of printer printing.
