FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: described are complexes of lanthanides with organic ligands of formula (1): where Ln is triple-charged europium or terbium cation; dik is a β-diketonate of formula (II): where R1, R2 is a lower alkyl, fluorinated alkyl, phenyl, 2-thienyl; Q is a pyridine-containing ligand of formula (III) or (IV), where R3, R4 is a lower alkyl, naphthyl; n=1 or 2. Described also is a method of producing lanthanide complexes of formula (I) by reacting β-diketone (dikH) and a pyridine-containing ligand Q of formula (III) or (IV) with lanthanide (III) chloride (LnCl3), or reacting a pyridine-containing ligand Q of formula (III) with a Ln(dik)3 complex.
EFFECT: disclosed luminescent lanthanide complexes have intense photo- and electroluminescence and are capable of forming thin films, which allows use thereof not only as photoluminescent phosphors, but also in electroluminescent devices as an active layer or in functional material.
