FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method envisages receipt of environment data, entry by the user characterising light effects and data characterising the existing mounted devices. Based on the above data at least one design style is formed for each light effect and one design style is selected for performance of light effect. In result implementation data may be formed on the basis of data on environment and selected design styles. Simulator intended for simulation of implemented light effects is designed so that it may ensure communication with the user or another provider of data on environment and light effects, on the one side, and source of data on mounted hardware, on the other side. The simulator may operate in design mode, execution mode, selection mode and implementation mode.
EFFECT: simplified provision of light effects.
