FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is referred to oil and gas producing industry, in particular to production using well strainers. The well strainer comprises the main pipe with openings, intermediate filtering layer including multitude of metal fibres wound spirally onto the main pipe and a filament with fluid tracer wound spirally onto the main pipe and including filament structure and tracer born by filament structure and caught into produced fluids in the well borehole, and outer shell with openings mounted on top of the intermediate layer. Method for well strainer manufacturing includes manufacturing of the filtering pipe by winding the intermediate layer including a band of metal wool fibres and a filament with fluid tracer onto the main pipe with openings along spiral path with tension, installing the filtering pipe into a long channel of outer sleeve with openings and fixing outer sleeve and filtering pipe.

EFFECT: expanded functionality, including control and detection of fluid.
