FIELD: electrical communication engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fibre-optic communication, in particular, to a fibre-optic plug, a fibre-optic adapter and a node of a fibre-optic connector. Fibre-optic plug includes ferrule, bushing fitted on outer surface of ferrule, and locking cap, which is pivotally mounted on the bushing. At least one locking unit is located on the inner wall of the locking cap. Locking unit is configured to engage and lock with a locking slot in the fibre-optic adapter. Two locking units are located on the inner wall of the locking cap. Two locking units are located at distance from each other along circular direction of the locking cap. External flange is located at one end of the bushing, and the open slot is located on the other end of the bushing and continues in axial direction to a place near the external flange. Locking rod is located on the external wall of the bushing and the locking rod is located between two locking blocks so that the locking cap can be turned relative to the bushing within the range of angles limited by two locking blocks. When the fibre-optic plug and the fibre-optic adapter are connected by aligning the sleeve with the fibre-optic adapter, the locking unit can be brought to the place of locking in the locking slot by means of a hammer-shaped opening of the locking slot, if the locking cap is rotated relative to the sleeve from any position.

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of operations of attachment and disconnection in a node of a fibre-optic connector of a fibre-optic plug and a fibre-optic adapter.
