FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device intended for removal of ice and snow from power transmission lines comprises support structure mounted at the power supply line and vibrator for the support structure, which is designed to apply vibration to the power supply line in order to remove ice and snow sticking to the power supply line. At that the support structure is comprised of the first support member covering one side of the power transmission line and the second support member faced to the first support member and covering the other side of the power transmission line. The vibrator comprises a drive unit placed at the lower part of the second support member, mounting facility for mounting of the drive unit placed at the second support member and drive cam coupled to the drive unit shaft for eccentric rotation in order to generate vibration.
EFFECT: reliability improvement.
