FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of obtaining carbon-based composite materials and products from thereof for heat-protective, construction, and chemically resistant purposes, to be exploited under conditions of complex static and dynamic load under heating at temperature to 2000°C in oxidative medium and high-speed abrasive-containing oxidative gas flows and liquid media (aerospace equipment, high-temperature electrothermal equipment in chemical, petroleum and metallurgical industries). Method for manufacturing products from carbon-ceramic composite material includes manufacturing carbon fibre composite blank of product, based on carbon fibrous material and polymer binding agent, its carbonisation and/or consolidation with carbon and siliconisation. In accordance with claimed technical solution siliconisation is carried out by soaking carbonised blank and/or consolidated blank with silicon melt, low-alloy adhesion-active metals from the group Ti, Zr, Nb, Ta. For this purpose charge in form of mixture of powders of silicon and metal from the group Ti, Zr, Nb, Ta is prepared with ratio, wt %: silicon - 97÷99, metal - 1÷3. Application of charge on the surface of products is realised by technological plastering with compound, in which filling agent is represented by said charge in amount 50-250% of weight of carbonised product blank, with binding agent being represented by solutions of organic and inorganic compounds in amount to 20-40% of charge weight. Blank is dried and cured, after which it is subjected to thermal processing to temperature 1900-1950°C in vacuum for 50-70 hours.
EFFECT: improvement of physical and mechanical properties and thermo-oxidative resistance of products due to uniformity of siliconisation.
