FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in metal cutters for machining various thin-wall flexible parts. Claimed damper is secured at the thin-wall part at its milling and comprises the case filled with thick medium. The weight is arranged with clearance inside said case to displace relative to its walls, the magnitude of said clearance being defined such that optimum magnitude of viscous resistance to vibrations of said weight.
EFFECT: high-intensity dissipation of the part vibration energy by the forces of viscous resistance, better quality and accuracy of the part machining.
