FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtering of fluids, in particular, fuel or oil of the internal combustion engines. Filter comprises barrel (14) to house filtering element (16) and filter head (18) with fluid inlet and/or outlet. Filter head (18) and barrel (14) are coupled by split turn-and-plug bayonet joint (24). The latter has at least two interacting structural locking elements (26, 28), one being coupled with the filter barrel (14) and another one coupled with the filter head (18. One of said locking structural elements (28) comprises at least one locking ledge (48). One of said locking structural elements (26) comprises the recess (58) interacting with locking ledge and having the in/out zone (60) for coupling and uncoupling of locking ledge and recess, and with closing zone (64) wherein said locking ledged engages as the bayonet joint. Element (46) arranged between the filter head and barrel is meant for pre-straining of locking ledge in the recess. Recess between closing zone (64) and in/out zone (60) has locking recess (70) for locking ledge, said recess having the top (72) on the side interacting with said locking ledge. Locking top (52) is located on the locking ledge side interacting with locking recess (70).
