FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) includes thermal decomposition of carbon monoxide CO in the presence of a metal catalyst. Carbon nanotubes are obtained in a mixture of CO and CO2 gases by supplying CO with a temperature of 800-1000°C on a nickel catalyst having a temperature of 200-400°C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the process of obtaining carbon nanotubes with a high yield.
