FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, in particular, to automatic injection devices. Device comprises a housing enclosing a cavity for accommodating a container, first overmoulded gripping surface extending longitudinally along a portion of housing on a first convex side surface of housing, and a second overmoulded gripping surface extending longitudinally along a portion of housing on convex side surface of housing opposite to first convex side surface. Housing has a proximal portion, configured to be gripped by hand of user, and a distal portion configured for injection to user. Proximal portion has an irregular tubular shape, in which front surface and opposite rear surface are planar, and first and second side surfaces are convex.
EFFECT: use of invention makes it easier for user to grip automatic injection device and manipulate said device during injection.
