FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device to monitor accuracy of thread cutting at lathe comprising a bedplate, a spindle to secure blank in it, and a carriage with secured tool, contains a device for information reading, information acquisition and processing device and computer. The device has rack installed on the carriage at side opposite from the cutter relatively to the blank. The information reading device is made as three sensors, the first one is sensor of radial movement of machined thread surface of the blank, it has tip and is installed on the rack with possibility of the tip interaction with external surface of the cut thread; the second sensor is sensor of linear movement, including ruler to be installed on the bedplate, and motor to interact with the carriage, and third sensor is sensor of angular movements, containing a coupling for its connection with spindle. Wherein all three sensors are functionally connected with the device for information acquisition and processing. Preferably the radial movement sensor shall be a proximity transducer.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements and exclusion unsound rejection of items.
