FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lathes and serves for compensation of spindle heat displacements. Invention comprises measurement system with data gathering and transfer means made up of rod element 3 spring loaded radially towards spindle axle, and data transfer means made up of contactless displacement pickup 4 fitted on lathe bed. Rod element is arranged in spindle head body to interact by one of its ends with outer ring of bearing 1 of spindle axle 2. Signal of contactless pickup 4 is fed to lathe CNC system for cutter crosswise correction proceeding from magnitude fo aforesaid signal of pickup 4.
EFFECT: higher precision.
