FIELD: metal cutting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal cutting at numerically controlled lathes and can be used for active control of geometrical parameters of parts. Device comprises a control unit in the form of a logic programmable controller connected to a computer. Device for picking up information on spindle movements includes a magnet fixed on the spindle shaft, and a Hall sensor installed on the inner wall of the lathe tailstock housing. Another means of picking up information on the processing of the part is equipped with a number of additional contactless laser sensors mounted on a bar fixed on the lathe tailstock body by means of fasteners, and for their strict alignment along the axial line of the processed part, a calibration filter is used. Rod is installed on a hinge, which provides the possibility of movement of the rod relative to the processed part.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of machining on lathe is achieved by implementing automatic continuous control of the accuracy of the geometric dimensions of the part's surface in real time without stopping the machine.
