FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: die for thixostamping contains top and bottom plates with installed on them a puncher and a matrix bushing that create a die engraving. The die has an extruder, a puncher holder and hydraulic cylinders secured on the top plate. The hydraulic cylinder rods by means of tie-rods are linked with the puncher. The puncher is secured in the holder by means of a bayonet lock with the possibility of fixed rotation in the direct and reverse directions around the vertical axis of the die under the action of the hydraulic cylinders.
EFFECT: increased quality of ready products due to the creation in the blank of shear deformations ensuring keeping of the globe-like ground structure, and removing porosity.
