FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: machine comprises a fixed frame, vertical racks mounted on the frame for centring and fixing the log, the cutting mechanism in the form of a carriage with a drive, moved back and forth along the processed log, and also a drive of the working bodies, and a mechanism of their setting. Each of the machine mills is made assembled of two halves symmetrically arranged to each other and located on the same axis, between which a circular saw blade is rigidly attached to perform longitudinal cuts along the entire length of the log surface. In addition, an electric motor is mounted, on the shaft of which a rod with a drill is mounted for drilling longitudinal holes, and movement of the electric motor is carried out in a horizontal direction along the guide rails by means of a geared motor. At that to eliminate the distortion of the rod with the drill there are supporting lunettes which are able to move through the transfer of the screw-nut.

EFFECT: invention enables to produce rounded logs with the formation of longitudinal holes to increase the capability of assembling the structure of logs, increasing their strength and fire resistance by reinforcing with metal and plastic components, reduction of internal stresses in the core of the log and its weight.
