FIELD: wood-working industry.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a board saw for whole section timbers ripping and is dealt with the field of wood-working industry to produce sawn timbers mainly from thin whole section timbers. The technical result is provision of a parallelism of planes of a saw-cut of produced sawn timbers. The board saw contains a frame with longitudinal guides, fixing a log position lateral clamps mounted on the cross guides of the frame, a saw disk gear with a drive mounted on a movable table. Each of the clamps is made in the form of a rack with a lower jaw and a power-driven upper jaw. The rack is installed on a vertical support having a through mortise passing along its symmetry axis providing the clamps with a possibility of the forced oncoming and backward motion of the jaws. At that the rack has a through vertical groove passing along its axis of symmetry, and the power-driven upper jaw is located in the groove of the rack so, that on one side of the rack there is its drive fixed there and on the other side there is its shank fixed by a resilient element. The vertical support is installed with possibility of motion along a cross guide. Clamps for fixion of a log are supplied with a gear of their synchronous motion. A movable table represents a spatial two-leveled design with two pairs of running wheels fixed in the lower part of the table and a pair of rollers mounted in its upper part.

EFFECT: the invention ensures parallelism of planes of a saw-cut of produced sawn timbers.
