SUBSTANCE: liquid hydrogen producing device is equipped with cooling cycle unit (R) wherein circulating hydrogen functions as cooling substance and liquid hydrogen generating device (P) functioning by hydrogen cooling in input raw material under high pressure at cooling cycle unit (R) by means of hydrogen adiabatic expansion in input raw material via (12) Joule-Thompson valve. The first and second heat exchangers (E1, E2) are placed along cooling cycle unit (R) and liquid hydrogen generating device (P). Liquid hydrogen producing device (HS) is equipped with evaporated gas processing device to generate liquid hydrogen by repeated liquefaction of the evaporated gas generated in liquid hydrogen storage tank into liquid hydrogen transportation container (16). The evaporated gas is introduced into hydrogen circulating path (1) to the part wherein circulating hydrogen of superlow temperature flows and excessive circulating hydrogen generated of the above introduced evaporated gas is released to the path (11) for hydrogen in input raw material, wherein hydrogen is circulated at room temperature.
EFFECT: invention allows effective usage and repeated liquefaction of gas evaporated from the tank without loss of cold energy for regeneration of liquid hydrogen.
