FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for reduction of creeping corrosion on printed circuit boards, to printed circuit boards with coating and to application of specific polymers for reduction of creeping corrosion. In method for reducing creeping corrosion of printed circuit boards, where printed circuit board contains substrate, multitude of electrical conductive tracks, located on at least one surface of substrate, solder mask, covering at least first section of multitude of electrical conductive tracks, and top coat, covering at least second section of multitude of electrical conductive tracks, is precipitated by means of plasma polymerisation of fluorohydrocarbon on at least part of solder mask and on at least part of top coat.

EFFECT: creation of reliable and effective method for reduction of creeping corrosion.
