FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: conformal coating obtained by a process comprising: (a) plasma polymerizing the compounds of formula , where R1 is C1-C3 alkyl or C2-C3 alkenyl group, a R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 independently denote hydrogen atom, C1-C3 alkyl or C2-C3 alkenyl group, and the precipitation of the polymer obtained on at least one surface of the assembly; and (b) fluorocarbon plasma polymerization and deposition of the resulting polymer the polymer obtained in step (a). Also described is a version in which the hydrofluorocarbon polymer is precipitated first, and then it is precipitated polymer prepared from a compound of formula (I).
EFFECT: resulting coating has improved performance characteristics.
