SUBSTANCE: in compliance with the first version, the images of trailer coupled with the tractor are received to detect the marker on received images. In compliance with the second version, the angle of coupling between the tractor and trailer is defined. In compliance with the third version, claimed process comprises the coupling identifier to specify the availability of coupling between the tractor and trailer and the controller. Then, the selected trailer parameters are used if the marker is continuously detected or if the coupling angle is continuously defined or the coupling is continuously identified. If the marker, or the coupling angle, or the coupling are not detected during the preset time interval, the trailer new parameters are proposed to be selected.
EFFECT: improved driver's aid at driving.
