FIELD: motor industry; control systems.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of controlling a car with a reverse trailer. Mobile system for assistance to driver of car with trailer at manoeuvre by reverse gear includes sensor of coupling angle, sensor of steering wheel steering angle, data input module, controller and man-machine interface. Hitch angle sensor determines angle between longitudinal axes of vehicle and trailer. Controller comprises adjuster angle control which forms vehicle control law with possibility of preventing situations when desirable value of coupling angle exceeds folding angle. Driver steering wheel angle sensor and coupling angle sensor are self-contained, easy-detachable and have wireless communication channel for transmitting measured data.
EFFECT: easier control of vehicle with trailer at backward movement.
