FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to facilities to measure pressure of gaseous media, namely, to devices for measurement of pressure difference with the help of elastically deformed elements as sensitive elements using optical means. A pressure difference converter comprises a measurement membrane arranged between support elements to form between the membrane and support elements of the first and second cavities communicating with sources of pressure, means of conversion of mechanical movement of the membrane into a measurement signal, arranged in the form of fibrous light guides arranged at opposite sides of the membrane with a gap relative to it, and an electronic converter made as capable of processing of a differential optical signal from outputs of fibrous light guides.

EFFECT: increased reliability of a converter and accuracy of pressure measurement.
