SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A skin stretching instrument for wound closure comprises a skin expander. The skin expander comprises at least two jaws configured mechanically movable in the direction of a pulling force with respect to each other. The jaws comprise hooks. The hooks are configured attachable to the skin on the wound periphery. Each hook is carried by a respective support extending across the direction of the pulling force. The supports are detachably mounted on the jaws and can be latched by means of fitted fixing members.

EFFECT: instrument makes it possible to improve the wound management.
