SUBSTANCE: method of protecting a surveillance radar station with a phased antenna array from interference during surveillance of a scanning area in a given part thereof comprises, in each beam position, establishing one of pre-calculated current amplitude and/or phase distributions on elements of the phased antenna array, wherein the beam position corresponds to the current scanning direction, and the positions of beam pattern "zeros" correspond to directions of interference sources.
EFFECT: improved protection of mobile surveillance radar stations with a phased antenna array from interference.
