FIELD: radars.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radars, in particular, to scanning radar stations (SRS). Said technical result is achieved due to that signals displayed to the radar image consumer at the current scanning are selected as per the detection results at the previous scanning as follows: at the previous scanning for each detected signal its level value is calculated reduced to the reference range, and on the scanning completion those signals are ordered in the descending order of the reduced level value; from the obtained row as the threshold value selected is a reduced value of a signal level with a sequence number equal to the specified number of detected signals; at the current scanning for each detected signal calculated is a reduced to the reference range value of its level and then compared with the threshold value, the decision is taken on the detected signal transmission to the radar image consumer, if the reduced value of its level is equal to or exceeds the threshold value.
EFFECT: technical result is the radar information consumer protection against overload by limiting the number of displayed to him detected signals without significant losses in detecting targets.
