FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for obtaining surface coating, containing stages of providing PVC-based wear layer (1), in fact free of inorganic filling agents, application on said PVC-based layer (1) of upper coating composition, which contains polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and silane compound, containing at least one aminogroup, heating said PVC-based layer (1) and said upper coating composition at temperature, equivalent or higher than 150°C, to form upper coating of wear layer (2).
EFFECT: obtaining surface coating, combining properties of physical stability and properties of chemical and gas barrier, is provided.
