FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sol-gel composition for coatings, containing hydrolised organosilane, metal-organic precursor and inhibitor of corrosion, where inhibitor of corrosion represents chelator for metal-organic precursor. Inhibitor of corrosion and metal-organic precursor can form complex in form of nanoparticles. Inhibitor of corrosion can represent diaminobenzoic acid and tetrazine. Composition for coatings can contain one or several additives, selected from antimicrobial additive, hardener, water-repellent additive, dye, additive, resistant to scratching, and flexibility-improving additive. Also described is method of obtaining sol-gel composition for coatings, which includes stages of organosilane hydrolysis in presence of catalyst, chelation of metal-organic precursor, mixing hydrolised silane and chelated metal-organic precursor and hydrolysis of mixture organosilane-metal-organic precursor.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain coating, which possesses homogeneity, good adhesion, reduced porosity and properties of self-recovery.
