FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to medical delivery devices, which comprise a cartridge assembly and a dose-setting mechanism. The cartridge assembly configured connected to the dose-setting and delivery mechanism, comprises a cylindrical body for holding a medicine container, a fastener configured to attach the cartridge assembly and dose-setting and delivery mechanism, and at least one coding element, which is detached from the fastener. The cylindrical body has a proximal end having an external surface and internal surface. The coding element is coded so as to engage with a mating coded element of the dose-setting and delivery mechanism thereby enabling the cartridge assembly to connect to the dose-setting and delivery mechanism. The coding element is configured as a support element, wherein the mating coding element is configured as an opposite support element. The support element and opposite support element are suitable for coupling thereby blocking motions during the process of connection and enabling the cartridge assembly to connect to the dose-setting and delivery mechanism. A proximal external surface of the cylindrical body is positioned between an arm support and a proximal axial end. The fastener is provided on the proximal external surface. The coding element of the cartridge assembly is a pin on the proximal external surface. The pin rests against a proximal end surface of the arm support. A set of cartridges comprises first and second cartridge assemblies configured as specified above. The first cartridge assembly contains a first medicine. The second cartridge assembly contains a second assembly different from the first medicine. The coding element of the first cartridge assembly is unique for the first medicine and specially coded to only engage to the mating coding element on the dose-setting and delivery mechanism, which is configured to dispense the first medicine. The second cartridge assembly does not connect to the first dose-setting and delivery mechanism.
EFFECT: inventions reduce a potential risk of incorrect medicine load into the medicine delivery device and introduction thereof by the user.
