FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to a coupling interface used in a vessel and a vessel holder so as to prevent an undesired cross use of the vessel. A system for a drug delivery device comprises a vessel holder, a coupling interface and one or more coding elements. The vessel holder is configured to hold the vessel. The coupling interface comprises a main body configured attachable to the vessel and a first coupling element provided on the main body. When the coupling interface is mounted in the vessel holder, the first coupling element interacts with a mating coupling element of the vessel holder so that the coupling interface is rotatable about the vessel holder. A drug supply system comprises a drug delivery device comprising a dose-setting mechanism and the above system, wherein the vessel holder is attached to the dose-setting mechanism, and wherein the vessel is found inside the vessel holder.
EFFECT: inventions provide higher user's safety of the device for injections, which can only receive or operate by means of special or coding elements provided on the cartridges in order to prevent the undesired cross use of the cartridge.
