FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes delivery of inhibitor using inhibitor flow rate regulator comprised of a body with inlet and outlet unions and actuating element represented by plunger pair placed inside the body and made with a piston represented by cylinder that can be moved reciprocally by an electric drive. At outer surface of the above cylinder there are radial grooves and at least one longitudinal groove of variable cross-section, which passage area is reduced from peripheral part of the above cylinder towards its central part. Inhibitor flow rate is regulated by changing cross-section of the channel formed by the plunger pair through axial movement of the above cylinder to or from outlet union of the above body or by changing frequency of electric current supplied to the electric drive of the plunger pair cylinder.
EFFECT: potential regulation of inhibitor flow rate with preset accuracy in all operation modes.
