FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: process is carried out in dynamic conditions in sorption column, filled with bimetal platinum-ruthenium catalyst with ratio of platinum to ruthenium (0.4-0.5):(0.6-0.5). Initial solution is supplied into column from bottom upwards, decomposition of oxalic acid is carried out in column with release of gaseous products, and purified solution freely flows into receiving reservoir.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase rate of oxalic acid decomposition and increase degree of its decomposition under dynamic conditions in comparison with static conditions.
