FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrician l engineering, medicine, chemical industry, nanotechnology and can be used in manufacturing transistors, supercapacitors, sensor displays, biosensors, additives to polymers and nanocomposites. Natural graphite is purified from admixtures, thermally processed at temperature not lower than 2100°C, dispersed in water medium, which contains surface-active or dispersing agent, with obtaining suspension with concentration of graphite material not higher than 6 mg/ml. Surface-active or dispersing agent is selected from the groups: anionic surface-active substances, non-ionogenic surface-active substances, cationic surface-active substances, fluorine-containing surface-active substances, organic solvents: acetone, alcohol, toluene or their mixtures; organic aromatic substances such as benzene, naphthalene, anthracene. Obtained suspension is processed by ultrasonic fluctuations at energy level and processing duration, sufficient for obtaining separate few-layer graphenes with acoustic power not lower than 50 W/cm2 of emitter working surface, which results in splitting of graphite material crystals into separate grapheme layers.

EFFECT: invention provides output of suspension of few-layer graphenes to 90-95% relative to weight of initial graphite.
