SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the preparation of graphene-containing suspensions used in the modification of composite materials with graphene: oils, lubricants, concretes. The method for obtaining graphene-containing suspensions by graphite exfoliation includes preparing a mixture of crystalline graphite with a liquid, obtaining an initial graphite-containing suspension, supplying an initial graphite-containing suspension to an exfoliation device, exfoliating graphite, withdrawing a graphene-containing suspension from an exfoliation device using a pump. The preparation of a mixture of crystalline graphite is carried out with the addition of natural lye as a liquid. Exfoliation of the graphite-containing suspension is carried out in multiple cycles using a graphite mechanical exfoliation module, including a buffer tank, one rotary-conical exfoliation device with a rotation speed of the working bodies of 6240 rpm, a mechanical filter and a pump.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of graphite exfoliation, the output of few-layer graphene, to reduce the harmfulness and danger of its production.
