FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: deep dorsal vein is separated at a small segment. The vein is ligatured and catheterised distally towards a balanus. A sclerosing agent is introduced, and the vein is ligatured and transected between the ligatures. The wound is sutured in layers. The penis is temporarily compressed along the entire length.
EFFECT: by catheterising the deep dorsal vein in the distal direction, the method makes it possible to achieve deep dorsal vein sclerosing along the entire length, from the balanus to proximal portions, enables to reduce a probability of recurrent venous drainage from cavernous veins along perforating and circumflex veins.
