SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication networks in which wireless devices can be configured to establish direct communication with other wireless devices of the "device-to-device" (D2D) type. A D2D group identifier may be included in wireless transmissions within D2D groups. The process of suppressing D2D interference may be initiated upon detecting a D2D group identifier by a wireless communication device which is not part of the D2D group.
EFFECT: high communication efficiency.
