SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication. The technical result is achieved by that the samples of GPS locations from the pool of mobile devices and the accompanying data of cellular towers, WLAN data and other comparable signals of the network are used for plotting of the dynamic map of specific regions; the dynamic map(s) can be sent and saved in separate mobile devices so that the mobile device can compare own less exact, but more readily available data, such as signals of cellular towers, with the saved data and to estimate own position more precisely and continuously; the position data can be sent to the server for the user in the location-based services.
EFFECT: ensuring continuous and exact positioning of the mobile device.
