FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes controlled binding of an aqueous acid solution and a hydrolysable silicon compound under isothermic conditions; subsequent evaporation into a single-phase solution with viscosity in the range of 0.5-30 Pa·s at shearing rate of 10 s-1 at 4°C; maturation of the obtained single-phase solution into a silicon sol-based material with viscosity of 30-100 Pa·s at shearing rate of 10 s-1 at 4°C and a loss factor of 2-5 is carried out while stirring. All steps are carried out in a single reactor.
EFFECT: enabling homogeneous addition of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical biologically active substances to the sol and simple technique owing to the use of a single reactor.
