FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: on a pre-heated surface of heavy hydrocarbons a liquid with a low boiling temperature is sprayed to create microzones with the temperature difference between the surface layer of the heavy hydrocarbons and the liquid with a low boiling temperature, and upon the achievement of the temperature difference exceeding the ratio of the specific heat of evaporation to the specific heat capacity of the evaporated liquid the intensive evaporation of hydrocarbon molecules and liquid with a low boiling temperature, wherein to keep the continuous process the evaporation surface if provided with continuous heat supply. Besides, the invention subject is the device for the evaporation of high temperature hydrocarbon fluids (fuel oil) containing an indirect action plasmatron with a hollow cathode branch pipe and forced movement of the cathode and anode spots, and the reactor comprising a casing, top and bottom lids, and a reaction chamber, wherein the plasmatron anode is installed under the plasmatron nozzle to ensure the radial direction of the plasma jet.

EFFECT: increased intensification of steam generation during evaporation, increased capacity of plasma chemical cracking.
