FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of processing oil and oil wastes. Invention relates to a method in which organic substances of petroleum origin are fed into a processing column, which outer shell can be made of fluoroplastic or glass fiber glass, and inner surface of which reaches half of outer part of processing column by height, starting from its top, and is made of stainless steel with thickness of 7 to 15 mm, which is simultaneously a cylindrical electrode. Substances are fed into the processing column through a pipe made of stainless steel or copper, the end of which should be located in the center of the processing column and reach the middle of its inner part in height. Insulated power electric wire is passed through the sealed lead-in tube located below the level of its inner part, designed for current up to 40 A, which reaches the center of the inner part of the processing string and is electrically connected to the metal electrode, which can be made of copper, titanium, nickel or tungsten and fixed in ceramic holder, and the second similar wire is connected to cylindrical electrode. High-mineralized water is supplied portionwise through the water line into the processing column to maintain the required liquid level and to provide electric current flow between the electrodes, using adjustable AC voltage source between electrodes alternating voltage is set from 30 to 200 V in frequency range from 1 to 300 Hz and after through electric high-voltage water is closed between electrodes, on electrode, which is located in the center of column inner part, plasma is formed, and substances of oil origin coming through the tube fall into the plasma formation zone and under its effect decompose into a hydrocarbon mixture consisting of lighter liquid hydrocarbons, which due to lower density than water, is concentrated in the upper part of the liquid which fills the inner part processing column. After complete filling of the inner part of the column with liquid, the process is stopped by switching off the power supply, after which the closed tap located in the lower part of the processing column is opened, and the hydrocarbon-water mixture in the form of an emulsion is drained from the processing column for further processing.
EFFECT: obtaining lighter hydrocarbons.
