FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to system of passive safety of pedestrians, animals and drivers in collision with vehicle front. Proposed system comprises set of overload transducers and control unit electrically connected with gas generator actuators and external airbag with opening opposite to driver's seat to be inflated from under the hood to cover vehicle windshield with front pillars and roof front edge. The safety airbag on its upper edge at the side of external damping surface has a bead with shelf located on its front side at the top along its length. Front surface of the bead is perpendicular to vehicle longitudinal axis, and the rear surface of this bead has a slope backwards and downwards in vertical plane, and top and bottom surfaces of the mentioned shelf are parallel to road plane.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection.
