FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: blanks with complex shape basing means its installation and securing on the machine table, at that on the machined surfaces of the blank at least three parts having spherical surfaces, and centres of these surfaces are determined in design system coordinates of the blank. Coordinates of centres of said surfaces are determined in machine coordinates system by measuring of the spherical surfaces by the appropriate machine sensors, and based on the obtained coordinates using the gears of angular and linear machine movement the machined surface of the blank is set to required position.
EFFECT: invention reduces process labour intensity of basing of blanks with complex profile.
